Today, I received a much better idea of what my project is about and what my role in it is. I accomplished this by reading a description of my project. It was tough for me to understand it at first, as I was being introduced to new concepts and ideas, such as 4D printing, functions, and IDAs. Although it was just reading about it that helped me gain clarity. I was given the task to create a presentation about my project, the problem it addresses, and what I'll be working on. I'll be presenting it tomorrow to my fellow interns and other project leads. It turns out that being able to know how I can summarize what I read and making it easy to understand was also a big help for not only the presentation, but also for my own understanding, and hopefully others, too. Now, I feel much more prepared to start making legitimate progress on this project. Even though it won't be anything like what I've done in the past, I'm officially ready to take on this new challenge, and I hope to learn a lot from it, too. I'll make sure to approach this challenge with a good mindset and avoid being my own worst enemy.
