As I'm writing this post, I can't say that I have prior experience with Open Source Software Engineering. However, I have the privilege to contribute to a project that'll grant me my first experience with it, and it's called ChatGPT tutor. The reason I'm pumped about it is because I use ChatGPT approximately everyday, and I'm a firm believer that it's one of the more powerful tools anyone can utilize to broaden their minds and gain intelligence. Although, like everything in life, it's not flawless. Conscientiousness is a characteristic that I intend on bringing to the table whilst I'm taking this OSS Engineering course, and confidence in decision-making skills is a skill that I'm attempting to improve upon also whilst I'm taking this OSS Engineering course. The plan I have in mind to achieve this is to attempt to speak my mind in situations where my team needs direction.
