As I take a moment to reflect on my recent progress in developing our component library, a mix of accomplishment and curiosity fills me. Today, I took on the task of creating the first child class for our component library, specifically focusing on a strain gauge. Although I successfully implemented the initial structure and inheritance, I find myself uncertain about the unique characteristics that will define this strain gauge child class. Developing a child class is like sculpting a masterpiece. It requires careful thought, a deep understanding of the parent class, and a vision for the distinct attributes that set it apart. When it comes to the strain gauge, its unique features remain somewhat elusive to me. Thankfully I don't need to worry about it as the upcoming week I will be told more about how I can better create this child class.
